Rafik Djoumi joined the Mad Movies and Impact teams in 1998. Known for his defence of “popular” cinema, he also manages more traditional collections and co-hosts master classes for FNAC. He has written works on George Lucas, the Matrix saga and that of The Lord of the Rings. From 2013 to 2018, he created the cultural weekly BiTS for Arte Creative and takes part in various “Arrêt sur image” TV programmes. He is also co-creator of the Total Trax podcast and hosts three programmes for “Arrêt sur Image”: Post-Pop, Cut and Netscape.
