The Eurogenre 2026 professional meetings are back and will be held from 29 September to 1 October, as part of the 19th Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival.
The Festival inaugurated Eurogenre in 2023 to highlight European creators of genre films, which are widely defined as fantasy, horror, science-fiction, thrillers and black comedy. The first edition of this event was supported by the Culture Fund of the 2021-2023 “Strasbourg European Capital” triennial contract.
To be eligible, submitted projects must:
- be a European feature-fiction film, in any stage of development;
- satisfy the definition of genre as defined above, and be either animated or filmed live action;
- include a teaser, a promo link, or images presented on a mood board or similar support.
Selected projects will be pitched to industry professionals on Tuesday, 29 September, followed by one-to-one meetings.
Eurogenre will cover accommodation for nights and travel expenses for the director.
The application form below must be completed before 27 May.
