Exposition H.R. Giger
Ridley Scott’s Alien is forty this year, an occasion for the Festival to return to the extraordinary work of the sculptor and designer Hans Ruedi Giger, from his horrific design of the most archetypal of space monsters to his other dreamlike surrealistic creations. The Festival, the Ososphère, the H.R. Giger Museum in Gruyères and the Aedaen Gallery are joining forces to host the artist’s works underlying the fascinating biomechanical world of the Alien film series. With silkscreens signed and numbered by Giger, publications, original works available for sale, as well as works from the collections of the H.R. Giger Museum, the Aedaen Gallery will be turned into a temple of science fiction, as seen by one of the most visionary sci-fi sculptors.
