Pierre-Yves Walder began his career in media relations in Paris before moving on to work at a number of Swiss film festivals, such as the Geneva International Film Festival, Visions du Réel, and the Locarno Film Festival. In addition to a number of collaborations with Radio Télévision Suisse, he ventured into other artistic fields, such as contemporary art, photography and performance. After programming several editions of the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival, he became its general and artistic director in 2021.
