Na Hong-jin, réalisateur de The Chaser et The Strangers, se retrouve cette fois aux commandes du plus gros budget de l’histoire du cinéma coréen. Il en profite pour signer un blockbuster spectaculaire, véritable leçon de maître dans la mise en scène, qui devrait rester dans les annales comme le film d’action coréen ultime.
