Aurélia Mengin est une autrice, réalisatrice, productrice et actrice réunionnaise. Première Réunionnaise à réaliser un long métrage pour le cinéma, elle a signé Fornacis (2018) et Scarlet Blue (2024). Son cinéma fantastique explore le corps féminin, l’intime, la folie et le surréalisme. En 2011, elle a fondé le festival Même pas peur, Festival international du film fantastique de La Réunion, qui célèbrera sa 17ᵉ édition en 2027.

Aurélia Mengin is a writer, director, producer and actress from Réunion. The first person from the island to make a feature film for the cinema, she directed Fornacis (2018) and Scarlet Blue (2024). Her fantasy films explore the female body, intimacy, madness and surrealism. In 2011, she founded Réunion’s international fantasy film festival Même pas peur, which will celebrate its 17th edition in 2027.
