George Miller

In a dystopian future where motorbike gangs rule the roads, a policeman sets out to track them down at the wheel of a souped-up powerful car. In this merciless battle on the asphalt, he endangers those closest to him.

George Miller, an Australian emergency doctor, began his filmmaking career with this neo-Western steeped in the revving of motors, a fast and furious torrent of metal and blood. The starting point of a cult saga also gave Mel Gibson his break-through role.
