The arrogant surgeon, Professor Génessier, has disfigured his daughter in a car crash. He tries to restore her beauty by attempting face transplants. His accomplice lures young women from Paris to a country chateau where the unsuccessful operations take place. The dead faceless victims are thrown into the river.
