With support and recognition from major authors of contemporary Mexican cinema, such as Alejandro Inarritu, Alfonso Cuaron and Carlos Reygadas, director Emiliano Rocha Minter delivers his vision of hell, or perhaps simply an interpretation of contemporary Mexican society. A mysterious and clearly devil-like gure, played by the brilliant Noe Hernandez, draws a brother and sister into a destructive spiral of incest, cannibalism and excessive violence. The filmmaker, a real multidisciplinary artist, endeavours to recreate a nightmare vision that will leave a lasting mark on the most hardened film buffs.
