LUZ

World Sales: Yellow Veil Pictures

Luz, a young taxi driver, enters a police station injured and dazed. At the same moment, a police psychiatrist is accosted in a bar by the very bizarre Nora. She speaks to him about Luz, her old boarding schoolmate who, she says, has supernatural powers, and asks the psychiatrist to help Luz. When he returns to the police station, he no longer seems to be quite himself.

This supernatural and sensual thriller plunges the audience into delightful confusion. For his first feature, Tilman Singer provides an innovative variation on the theme of demonic possession in which sensations take precedence over the rational. This surprising film will not leave you indifferent.
