LETTERS FROM A DEAD MAN

A nuclear war is launched due to a computer error. A town is demolished and the radiation levels are lethal. But only healthy people can be admitted to underground bunkers, one of whom is a Nobel prize winning scientist. There shelter is in the basement of a history museum, where he writes letters to his son, though it is clear that they will never be read. He escapes from the bunker, and tries to help abandoned children.
