Often the purists’ preferred choice, the sequel to Gremlins is jam- packed with cynicism and is an incredibly irreverent work. Perhaps less frightening than Gizmo’s rst adventure, Gremlins 2 is both a mad farce and a tribute to Chuck Jones cartoons.
