Dans les années 1970, un couple de musiciens quitte Londres pour s’installer au cœur du pays de Galles, dans l’idée de changer de vie et de travailler au calme. Ils enregistrent par hasard un son étrange et le modifient. Dans la foulée, une enfant étrange leur apparaît qui les entraîne au cœur de la forêt, où ils perdent alors tout contact avec la réalité.

In the 1970s, a married couple, both musicians, leave London to settle in mid-Wales, their idea being to change their lives and work in a quiet environment. By accident, they record a mystical sound and modify it. Subsequently, a strange child appears and takes them to the centre of the forest, where they lose all contact with reality.

A film that profoundly engages the senses, Rabbit Trap is a curious work, in the tradition of folk horror and in that of recent films, especially British, which skilfully exploit sound as a resource to place the viewer in a destabilising environment.
