Si l’enfer peut prendre mille visages, comment se manifeste‑t‑il dans le jeu vidéo ? Kino Games réunit sept jeux indépendants aux mécaniques variées, en solo ou multijoueurs, qui explorent aussi bien des visions traditionnelles de l’enfer – paysages embrasés, atmosphères cendrées ou corporate hell – qu’un enfer plus insidieux, ancré dans notre réalité contemporaine. En écho à la rétrospective FasciFiction, cette sélection met en avant des jeux qui explorent résistance, solidarité et action collective face à l’oppression.
Hell can take a thousand forms but how does it manifest itself in video games? Kino Games brings together seven independent games with varied mechanics, for solo or multiplayer play, which explore its traditional burning landscapes, ashen atmospheres and corporate hells as well as a more insidious hell that’s rooted in contemporary times. Echoing the FasciFiction retrospective, this selection highlights games that explore resistance, solidarity and collective action in the face of totalitarian oppression.
