Fabrice Blin and Vincent Leyour will be giving you an opportunity to experience the incredible adventure of Super 8 fantasy films in France, in the 1980s when HD 4 resolution and i-Phones did not yet exist and the only way for young directors to shoot movies was by using Super 8. Many budding filmmakers therefore started out in this format. They included the aficionados of what was yet to be called genre cinema that is to say the devotees of the world of wonder fantasy or dreams science ction thrillers and crime movies as well as those who venture into more extreme cinema such as horror movies and their schoolboyish or frightening excesses in terms of the gore portrayed.
