Egon Spengler, Ray Stant and Peter Venkman mad scientists who specialise in the paranormal establish an agency to chase ghosts and track a demonic spirit from their client’s refrigerator to the roof of a Manhattan skyscraper. In the 1980s Ghostbusters was much more than a film. It was a society phenomenon made up of song animation and goodies. A huge success the film by Ivan Reitman combines the talents of Saturday Night Live, the frank subversion of Bill Murray the wacky antics of Rick Moranis and the sex-appeal of Sigourney Weaver.
