Synopsis

Into the Wild is based on the true story of Christopher McCandless, who took off to lead an isolated life in Alaska in the 1990s. Although he also had a brilliant career ahead of him, he chose to reject the consumerist values of contemporary society to embark on ajourney of initiation in a quest for freedom. The film brilliantly transports us on a discovery of the Great American North and immerses us inthe long journey, conducive to making discoveries and experiencing many encounters.
