Tomand Lucie have planned to spend the night at a hotel in the country on their way to a music festival. They follow the road signs and drive along winding roads but keep returning to their starting-point. Unable to find their way as night falls, they begin to sense the hostility of the forest around them and the fear about to engulf them.
In Fear could be described as a home invasion film set in a car. Playing on the feeling of claustrophobia brought about by the confined space in which the characters find themselves, Jeremy Lovering makes use of this intimate situation to create psychological terror. Selected at the 2013 Sundance Festival.
