A scientist tries to prolong his life by experimenting with female hormones. He believes that if he lives longer, he will have more time to find cures for diseases. He changes back and forth between man and woman, but the less humanistic Sister Hyde soon takes over. A feminine slant on Robert Louis Stevenson’s Gothic novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and an amazing precursor of today’s concept of gender fluidity.
