Cat People (La féline)

A New York ship designer is drawn inexorably to the strange and mysterious Irena, a beautiful fashion designer from Serbia. They marry, but the marriage is never consummated because Irena believes that she belongs to an ancient tribe whose women metamorphose into panthers when ever aroused by jealousy or if kissed by a man. Cat People focuses on her struggle to vanquish the fatalistic pull of her non-humanside.
