BODY DOUBLE

A struggling actor is temporarily lent a superb apartment. Looking through a telescope, he spies on a woman dancing in the building next door, then witnesses a horrible murder. Deeply rooted in 1980s cinema, Brian De Palma distorts and parodies Rear Window. With sex, voyeurism, duplicity and betrayal, all of his narrative arsenal is present in this film, long time under fire for its excessiveness.
