The Festival is delighted to unveil the official poster for its 19th edition, to be held from 25 September to 4 October. Signed by the artist Mahon, it draws its inspiration from the festival’s main retrospective, dedicated to artificial intelligences, and which pays tribute to Stanley Kubrick’s benchmark film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

On the 2026 bill: new international productions of both fantastic feature and short films with the filmmakers in attendance; vintage classics on the silver screen; master classes; off-site events;  industry meeting days, and the Festival Village in the heart of Strasbourg.

The Festival is one of the most anticipated genre events in Europe, bringing together emerging directors, genre masters and a public keen on a diversity of cinematic experiences.

The first slate of films in the official selection will be announced in August. The entire programme will be available with the kickoff of the city’s cultural season in September.
