La croyant victime d’un complot, un garçon aide une jeune fille internée à s’échapper. Leur fuite vers la liberté débute comme une idylle pastorale, les deux adolescents trouvant refuge dans une nature luxuriante de forêts et de rivières. Mais l’idylle s’assombrit à mesure que la jeune fille devient instable.

Au cœur du récit se trouve la pureté de l’amour sans limites du garçon, rappelant des films comme Les Enfants du paradis. Un genre d’amour rarement dépeint dans le cinéma d’aujourd’hui.

A boy helps an institutionalised girl escape, believing she’s the victim of a plot. Their flight to freedom begins like a pastoral idyll, as the two adolescents find refuge in a lush nature of forests and rivers. But the idyll darkens as she becomes unstable. 

At the story’s heart is the purity of the boy’s boundless love for her, recalling such films as Children of Paradise, the kind of love rarely depicted in the cinema of today.
