Jae-pil and Sang-goo, two friends who are none too smart, just thought they’d do up an isolated old shack in the middle of the Korean outback, but their plans are thrown into disarray when a group of students mistake them for kidnappers, the local police start to keep tabs on them and they accidentally awaken an evil force in the cellar of the house.
Any resemblance to existing characters is anything but coincidental. The first gory comedy in the history of Korean cinema, Handsome Guys is a completely mad kimchi-red remake of the cult movie Tucker and Dale Fight Evil, transposed into the worlds of Evil Dead and Friday the 13th.
