Smith lives the good life on campus – he hangs out with his best friend – the sassy Stella, sleeps with the beautiful London and covets Thor, his gorgeous roommate, a simpleminded surfer. Then one terrifying night changes everything. Stoned on space cookies at a party,Smith thinks he has witnessed the horrible murder of a mysterious redhead who haunts his dreams. He tries to discover the truth, which will change the course of humanity.

 

Gregg Araki

Raised in southern California,  Gregg Araki  had  an early penchant for the visual arts, comic books and pop music. He completed his BA in film from the University of Santa Barbara with a MAF from USC. Araki, whose non-conformism never went unnoticed, made a name for himself in 1992 with The Living End. In 1994 he launched the trilogy Teen Apocalypse.In 1999, he directed the comedy Splendor. After a stint in TV, Araki found critical acclaim with Mysterious Skin (2005), which dealt with the sensitive issue of pedophilia. His recent film SmileyFace was screened at the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes and in 2010 Kaboom was part of the official selection at the Cannes FilmFestival.
