Min Kyu-dong bouscule les codes du polar coréen en plaçant au centre de son récit une tueuse vieillissante, à la fois vulnérable et redoutable. Sans pour autant oublier l’action, il privilégie la densité psychologique au simple divertissement, faisant de la violence un révélateur de blessures profondes. Un film coup de poing, qui conjugue thriller et portrait de femme avec justesse et humanité.
