The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival will, in continuation of its Eurogenre industry meeting days, be launching its first writing residencies, thereby contributing to the development of emerging creators in French genre filmmaking.
The Eurogenre short-film residency will be hosted by the Centre de résidence de l’écriture à l’image in Saint-Quirin (Grand Est Region), from 27 to 31 July 2026.
Designed for screenwriters and directors with experience in dramaturgy, these French-language writing workshops will provide project development guidance from experienced screenwriters and other film industry professionals. The selected projects will be presented during the Festival’s Eurogenre industry meeting days, to be held from 29 September to 1 October 2026.
