Jack, a caustic former radio presenter, has taken to the bottle since a listener he made fun of on the air, committed a massacre. One night, while on a binge, he meets Parry, a man gone mad after his wife was murdered by the listener concerned. In search of the Holy Grail, he recruits Jack to be his Percival. Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams are superb as broken souls who come together to regain a taste for life. A masterful Gilliam achieves the impossible with this tragicomic tale.
