BALLAD IN BLOOD

On the eve of Halloween, Jacopo and Duke wake up with a hangover in the apartment of two foreign students, Lenka and Elizabeth. Things are about to get worse when they discover that Elizabeth has died under strange circumstances, and none seems to remember what happened. With the help of videos of the previous evening shot on Elizabeth’s smartphone, they try to run through the events of that bloody night.

Thirty-five years after Cannibal Holocaust, Ruggero Deodato has directed a new film in which video is a key element of the plot and which still features the extremely graphic violence and erotic tension that characterise his movies.
