Veronika Franz studied philosophy and has worked as a lm journalist. Since 1997, she has collaborated artistically with Ulrich Seidl, on films such as Import Export and the Paradise Trilogy. In 2015, she co-directed Goodnight Mommy, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and went on to win many prizes, including the Méliès d’or. It has been sold to more than 20 countries.
