K-shop could be a story of triumphant immigration but is ultimately a horror tale full of devastating cynicism. Salah, a young hard-working and promising student, observes the daily work of his father, the owner of a small restaurant in a town in which a great deal of binge-drinking takes place every weekend. When his father is killed by mindless youths out for violence, he abandons his ambitions and turns anyone who crosses his threshold into kebab meat.
