Since it was screened at the Sundance Film Festival, Swiss Army Man has been preceded by its attering reputation: everyone wants to see this one-of-a-kind lm in which the Harry Potter actor is reduced to a atulent corpse. However, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s rst feature film is much more than its amusing premise.
This story of initiation is impossible to summarise because it is an emotional roller coaster ride which takes the audience from horror to stupefaction and from laughter to tears in just a few moments. An intuitive work, carried by two brilliant actors in very off-beat roles, Swiss Army Man has the potential to become a cult film.
