Hugues Barbier has worked in the film industry for more than 15 years. Since 2014, he has produced feature films, such as Local God (Gustavo Hernandez, 2014), Huachicolero (Edgar Nito, 2018) and A Desert (Josh Erkman, 2024) as well as several shorts. In 2018, he co-founded, with Joe Yanick and Justin Timms, Yellow Veil Pictures, an international sales, distribution and production company, focusing on art house and genre films.
