Gretchen, an American teenager, joins her father in an Alpine spa. She and her new family take up residence in a hotel whose proprietor seems to have become totally fascinated by Gretchen’s young mute half-sister. From the very first night, Gretchen is disturbed by strange visions and haunting sounds.
