A patchwork of situations comes together to form a whole. A couple deeply in debt try to win a rock-and-roll contest and a teenage girl meets a sex maniac, who is himself visited by a minister whose car breaks down in the middle of the countryside.

The playwright Jean-Christophe Meurisse assembles his characters in a crazy ballet reminiscent of the great moments of Italian comedy, a time of absolute freedom to laugh at everything, especially the sinister and sordid. Bloody Oranges boasts a superb cast of great actors who wallow in excess with great relish.
