After studying film and gaining practical experience in sound and directing, Estelle Dalleu opted for film theory, with a PhD on David Lynch. She currently teaches at the cinema department of the University of Strasbourg, and has included a cours on the fantastic genre in her programme. She has always has a special interest in this field, and has made it one of her preferred research subjects.
