Femina ridens (The Frightened Woman)

Dr Sayer is a woman hater, obsessed with his own virility and fears that women will be the dominate sex in the future. He invites Maria, a feminist journalist who needs some documents of his for her article on masculine sterilization, to his home. He drugs her and she awakens with her feet tied to her wrists. Piero Schivazappa draws us into his arty experimental delirium where the characters’ fantasies blend with pop visuals in their innovative heyday.
