VIDEODROME

David Cronenberg

Design sans titre-90

The programmer of a television channel accidentally watches a show re-enacting scenes of torture. His discovery triggers hallucinations and physical changes. David Cronenberg has anticipated the changes of our time better than any other filmmaker. A visionary film but a commercial failure on its release, Videodrome foreshadows our relationship with violence and our dependence on screens and their short-lived content.
