LOST IN LA MANCHA

Keith Fulton, Louis Pepe

Design sans titre-72

Lost in La Mancha is the “making-of” of a film that was never finished, Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. Instead of filming the aseptic backstage scenes and the usual crew interviews, Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe documented the disastrous shooting of what should have been the major European production of the time. Whether having to contend with a health problem of the lead actor or with capricious weather, nothing was spared for Terry Gilliam and his team, who were forced to suffer harsh twists of fate.
