Seven people are brought together in a closed, futuristic space for a pharmaceutical trial. The product causes severe insomnia and unexpected reactions in the brain. Forced to stay awake, locked up and left to their own devices, the protagonists will have to fi ght to stay alive.
Based on a fairly classic premise, Ian Hunt-Duffy has made a gruelling horror fi lm in which viewers share his characters’ dazed state and stress. Part mystery, part body horror, this fi rst feature is all the more effective thanks to its characters with strong personalities, individuals who are both greedy and deeply neurotic.
