The Spine of Night

Ancient dark magic falls into sinister hands and unleashes ages of suffering on humankind. A group of heroes from different eras and cultures band together to save humanity from his dark magic.

Far from the confines of Hollywood animation, this ultra-violent fantasy for adults is a nostalgic throwback to the 1980s, epoch of Conan the Barbarian. Its aesthetics are largely inspired by Ralph Bakshi, who renewed the adult animation scene in the 1970s, but in a nod to today’s social concerns, Spine takes a few stabs at race discrimination.
