At an American high school, a handful of students join forces to fight what seems to be an extraterrestrial invasion. A commissioned film, The Faculty is an interesting 1990s variation on the theme of an alien invasion and contamination. Robert Rodriguez showed he was particularly comfortable with a subject-matter made to order and directed a story written by the very popular neo-slasher screenwriter Kevin Williamson.
