Khavn has directed over 300 films, including Makbetamaximus and Rizal’s Makamisa: Phantasm of Revenge. Solicited by major film festivals, he has been a juror at the Berlinale, Clermont-Ferrand, Jeonju and Dok Leipzig, among others. In addition to his creative work, Khavn has lectured at institutions such as the Jihlava Academy in Czech Republic and the Danish Film Institute. He also curated the Philippine No Wave at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2012 and at the Sharjah Biennial in 2013.
