The second assistant director on Un Indien dans la ville (An Indian in the city in 1994), Xavier Palud went on to shoot his first short film Sexous Breakdown before working as a set designer on Patrice Leconte’s La Veuve de Saint- Pierre (The Widow of Saint-Pierre). In 2006 he wrote and co-directed Ils Them his first feature-length horror film together with David Moreau. The duo then directed the remake of The Eye. After directing an episode of III The Series he returned to the big screen in 2012 with the thriller A l’aveugle (Blind Man). In 2014 he directed for Arte the mini-series Intrusion which was shot in Strasbourg and Alsace.
