JURASSIC PARK

Tuesday 20th september 2016 Place de la Cathédrale

Screening time at 8 p.m.

The team of billionaire John Hammond has succeeded in cloning various species of dinosaur from a drop of blood absorbed by a fossilised mosquito. With the help of specialists Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcom, preparations are made to open a theme park on an island near Costa Rica. But a computer programmer’s treachery turns the dream into a nightmare ― the dinosaurs run amok.

A wave in a glass of water, a yellow eye and sharp teeth – images meant to shock in this huge 1993 hit, which recalls Spielberg’s weakness for unmanageable animals, following his terrifying shark in Jaws. To see again, provided you’re not afraid of a T-Rex appearing in front of the cathedral.
