Georges Heck’s career path has taken him from setting up a film society during his time at university in the early 1970s, establishing the Vidéo Les Beaux Jours association in 1989, opening the Maison de l’Image together with the city of Strasbourg in 1999 to his present position, which he has held for some years, as head of the cinema department at the Strasbourg Eurométropole.
