BENJAMIN THOMAS

Benjamin Thomas, lecturer in lm studies at the University of Strasbourg, is the author of an essay on Japanese lm-making entitled “Le Cinéma japonais d’aujourd’hui : Cadres incertains” (PUR, 2009) and edited the publication Tourner le dos : Sur l’envers du personnage au cinema (PUV, 2013). He has also written numerous articles on the aesthetics of the cinema, which have appeared in CinémAction, Vertigo, Ligeia, Positif, and the blog Rendez-vous avec la peur, as well as in collective works, some on Japanese and Italian fantastic cinema or on George Romero.
