Janek is a technician at a climate research station in the Austrian Alps. His misanthropic nature complicates relations with the scientists at the station, and the rivalries are set to escalate with the approach of an official visit from the Minister of the Environment. However, their routine is interrupted by the discovery of a red liquid leaking from the glacier. This “glacier blood” proves to have unexpected effects on animals, transforming them into monstrous creatures.
After Rammbock, Marvin Kren continues his exploration of human relationships with this monster movie which takes a censorial look at the ecological disasters caused by immoderate human activity.
