After moving into an unsanitary apartment in Los Angeles, Levi makes friends with his neighbour John. Levi sees strange phenomena, seemingly from a crystal object of unknown origin that starts levitating without explanation. The two friends want to turn their paranormal investigation into a documentary that they hope will make them rich and famous. Their complicity weakens as the paranoia grows between them.
