A young Englishwoman living in Normandy is raped by a group of hunters. Managing to escape, she is hunted down like a wounded animal in the marshes. The Track is one of the finest achievements of French genre cinema, not only for its extreme horror but above all for its depiction of a bourgeois, provincial microcosm. Serge Leroy has put together his cast of deviant characters with excellent actors.
